Reviews on CBV and CBVFL sites
Within the cbvfl.com (and ColdwellBanker.com) site, each associate has a page. That page can display Reviews or Testimonials. Unfortunately, at this time, the pages cannot display both. However, the system gives higher value to Reviews, so associates with reviews will appear higher on the searches or within the office.
What is the difference?
Reviews come directly from the customer and the customer selects a “star” rating along with the Review.
Testimonials are “reviews” that you have received from customers that are currently located in other places (i.e., written review, email, another website, company document). These Testimonials are copied and pasted into your website dashboard and displayed on your page within the cbvfl and CB sites.
How do I choose one or the other?
To choose which you would like to display on your page, go to new.myzap.com and sign into your dashboard. In the upper right corner, use the dropdown menu to select My Website. Once you are on your webpage dashboard, scroll down to your toolbar. These are the options that appear below your photo and above your bio. Select the Reviews option and you will be dropped down to the Reviews section. In the Reviews options, you will see you can “Display testimonials” or “Display all Reviews.” The default is to display Reviews. If you would prefer to add testimonials to your page, simply click the circle next to “Display Testimonials.” You will then be able to copy and paste current and previous Testimonials to your page.
How do I get customers to Review me?
For a customer to provide a Review, the customer must be in your zap powered CRM. Once the customer is in your database, select the customer so their complete profile appears. You can do this by either selecting the contacts options in the left column on the screen and then selecting the customer’s name highlighted in blue or by typing the customer name in the Contacts search bar at the top of the screen. Below the customer name, there are three options. The first two are means of contact: Log a Call or Send an Email. If you don’t have the required information for the customer, the option will be greyed out. The third option is More. If you click on More, a drop-down menu will appear. The third option down is to “Ask for Review.” When selecting this option, you will be walked through the steps of sending an email to your customer requesting a review. The automated email can be altered and contains a link to your customer to provide Review that will be published on your page along with the commensurate number of stars selected.
